Flapy Tetris
The idea of the project was to create a kind of Tetris/Match-3 mechanic but having to control the birds like a Flappy-Bird game.
TodoGodot GameJam premise was to use at least 3 out of 8 lessons learned during the "Escuela de Godot 2025" course.
The game is incomplete and buggy but I uploaded it anyways to participate and get feedback from the awesome community of https://www.twitch.tv/rafalagoon
1) Resources. I have applied this to manage Collision shapes and Sprites of the "pieces", but somehow I messed up and the color selection is not working anymore.
2) Archivos y cifrados. NOT USED. (original scope was to use it to autoload levels from .csv files)
3) Parallax 2D. I have added several parallax layers to play with the background.
4) Programación Orientada a Objetos. I have created the Class> Birds which extends from CharacterBody and it contains all the properties and constructors necesary for the game manager to place Birds and let them move, die or stay on a branch of the trees.
5) Localización. NOT USED. (original scope was to add this to translate menus)
6) Globales. NOT USED. (original scope was to use them to manage score, current colors to tweak randomness and high score)
7) Nodos de control. NOT USED. (original scope was to use them to create a game menu and UI with score)
8) Plugins. NOT USED.
